The local Chamber of Commerce represents the commercial, industrial and agricultural interests of the Bekaa and provides services and training activities to local businesses. CCIAZ is one of the key partners in our projects as it was involved and participated in the needs analysis and benefited from workshops and exchanges of experiences on good governance in business services to then transfer this new knowledge to businesses through training activities and the provision of services such as the business social incubator and start-up funds.

The General Directorate of Cooperatives is the institution responsible for registering, assisting, monitoring and providing of financial support to cooperatives in Lebanon.

The collaboration with GDC aims in supporting the cooperatives in  elaboration of feasibility studies, providing management and financial trainings and participation to local fairs.

LARI is a governmental organization under the Minister of Agriculture Supervision. The institute is the main public institution providing agro-meteorological information and certified facilities for testing product quality. It accompanies farmers in the application of innovative systems and problem solving in production. It is also a key partner for chemical and biological analysis and for disease control and reporting as part of the early warning and alert system through the LARI-LEB application which is essential for the IPM monitoring coordination.
